Summer/Fall 2017: Circle Connections Nature’s Way Leadership Program was given twice at Avalon, where everyone felt cared for and safe to try new experiences in growing their leadership, especially related to the farm animals. Some had fears about change or of animals. Some had lost hope. Some were worn out by the stress and ugliness of a violent sexist, racist society. But nestled in a cozy loving nature-centered place where every voice was listened to without judgment and creativity was unlimited, we became the leaders greatly needed today. We learned how to be in harmony with all creation by the mini horses, goats and chickens. Nature’s Ways and the setting helped us to become deeply connected to Creator, to nature, ourselves, and one another. All went home renewed, hopeful and in love with the four-legged, the winged the leafed and the women at Avalon.
